Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons, not due to our error.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email confirmation to notify you that we have received your returned item. Following a thorough inspection, we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund which will be at our sole discretion.
If your returned item/s are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first recheck your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve completed all of these steps and still have not received your refund, please feel free to contact us.
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Items purchased on sale cannot be refunded at full price.
Exchanges
We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged. Always ensure all items bought are to your specifications. If you need to exchange an item for the same item or something similar please contact us to arrange for exchanges.
Once we have received your item/s and completed an inspection, we will send an email confirmation to notify you that we have received your item/s. Following a thorough inspection, we will notify you of your exchange’s approval or rejection, which will be at our sole discretion.
If your returned item/s are approved for exchange, a replacement will be processed and shipped to your original purchase address.
Please note that should we not have a replacement item in stock at the time, a back order will be placed and you will be notified of an ETA.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
Suppose the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you at a later stage. In that case, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will be responsible for any further communication about your return.
Returns
Our return policy lasts for 7-days for DOA (dead on arrival)/ defective items ONLY.
Unfortunately, no returns can be processed after 7-days since your purchase was received.
We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of a high quality, in good working order, and without defects. Products may not be returned unless the product supplied is either incorrect, or unsafe, or the product is damaged or defective upon delivery. A defective product usually means that the goods were manufactured using materials, components, or workmanship below an acceptable standard. You must prove that goods are defective. GreenCoin Technologies reserves the right to inspect any goods returned under this clause. On receipt of the returned product, GreenCoin Technologies will make all reasonable efforts to inspect the said product in a timely manner. GreenCoin Technologies will then exchange or replace the said product on the condition that:
- (i) the product is returned in its original condition – including packaging (with no unnecessary damage), documentation, warranty cards, manuals and accessories and
- (ii) the customer returns the product within the Standard Warranty period and follows the procedures laid out.
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return:
- faults resulting from normal wear and tear
- damage arising from negligence, user abuse, or incorrect usage of the product
- damage arising from electrical surges or air corrosion
- damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product
- damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product
- where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you
- unnecessary damage through handling, unboxing, and/or repackaging.
Should any of the conditions above be met we reserve the right to reject the logged return and charge an assessment/restocking fee or we will charge for repairing the product and returning it to you.
Software products are exempt from being returned.

Should we not have a replacement item in stock at the time, a back order will be placed and you will be notified of an ETA.
Please note that you will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Should you require us to arrange shipping, we ask that you cover the shipping fees for the delivery of the product to us and we will cover the cost of delivery back to you. If the product is not found to be faulty after a reasonable amount of testing we ask that you cover the shipping both ways and will be charged an assessment fee of R150. All shipping fees will be handled during the RMA process, do not give any cash to the courier.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your replacement to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item/s.
